What can you expect to find when you stop by soon for a closer look at the Tucson and the Tucson Hybrid?
Performance
Three engines are offered throughout the four Tucson trim levels, and the three Tucson Hybrid trim levels. The gas-powered engine is a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder system that will impress you with its delivery of 187 horsepower. The Tucson Hybrid is available with a turbocharged four-cylinder, 1.6-liter hybrid engine. It offers 226 total horsepower. A plug-in hybrid variation of this engine is also provided. With this engine in your crossover, you could benefit from 261 total horsepower.
Appearance
The Tucson shows off bold, appealing styling for the 2022 model year. The Tucson Hybrid is almost identical to the Tucson, except for a few minor accent differences. Both options display smooth flow through the profile and a rounded, modern nose. The nose is beautifully styled with a radiant grille that conceals the LED headlights and a confident lower fascia. The sides have square, molded wheel fenders, and crisp contours. At the rear, a liftgate spoiler is combined with a dual-triangle taillight design. A beefy skid plate breaks up black molding on the bumper.
Features
The three Tucson Hybrid trim levels correspond perfectly with the mid-level Tucson trim levels. With this in mind, you can expect both the gas-powered and hybrid options to have shared equipment like a proximity key, adaptive cruise control, heated side mirrors, a blind-spot monitor, roof rails, heated front seats, a push-button starter, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a central infotainment system screen, forward collision mitigation, a rear-seat reminder and a variety of other desired features.
